Australian employers consistently rate verbal communication skills as extremely important when hiring new employees. Poor English pronunciation is a common reason why some employers may choose not to hire international students.
To help improve the employability of Curtin students, the Curtin Careers & Employment Centre has partnered with Star Pronunciation to release a limited number of places in their award-winning English pronunciation course. The course helps students from non-English speaking backgrounds enhance their job prospects by speaking clearer English.
For a limited time and for a limited number of applicants, Curtin students have the opportunity to participate in the course at a special price of just $99 (normally $469).
Star Pronunciation online courses were developed by Georgie Taylor, a Speech Pathologist who has helped more than 3000 students from all over the world to speak English clearly and with more confidence.
