Come along to this workshop to learn how to work within and across cultures – an important skill sought after by employers. Explore your own and others cultures and what it takes to transition from one culture to another, and identify strategies that will help you to develop your own cultural competence. Understanding your industry and labour market trends will help you to make informed career decisions, tailor your job search efforts and job application documents as well as identifying potential growth areas for your next career move. This workshop will help you discover how different employment trends can impact the changing world of work, access and use reliable career information sources, and analyse the link between discipline of study and potential occupations, employers and industries.
