Welcome! Each week we post a What’s On. There are some great opportunities coming up in Sem 1, CV! programs open for registration this week, so you’ll need to be quick if you want to get involved, and the Curtin Careers Fair is on in Week 3.

It’s Orientation Week this week and there’s heaps happening. The big focus for us this week will be:

UniHub & Careers | Monday 18 February | B210.101 Bentley Campus
Want to know how you can make yourself more employable? In this session, you’ll learn how to search for jobs, access career and resume advice, and find out more about career and leadership events.

Leadership & Volunteering | Tuesday 19 February | B210.101 Bentley Campus
Hear more about the programs and opportunities available to meet other students, connect with your community and develop new skills. You’ll also find out how you can gain official recognition in co-curricular programs through Curtin Extra.

GUILD O-DAY | Wednesday 20 February | Bentley Campus
Get ready for a massive day full of fun and freebies. With more than 100 student clubs and stalls, you won’t want to miss out on all the entertainment, games and activities. We’ll be manning a stand between 11am and 2pm, and can let you know what we can offer you in terms of careers, employment, leadership and community engagement!

On the job front, check your job application docs are up to date, be happy with your career choices, know that you’re doing everything to make you highly employable, and check into UniHub‘s jobs board regularly.

Don’t forget, if you’ve got any questions about your career, how to build it, and where it can take you, drop in and see one of the Careers, Employment & Leadership team in B102 Curtin Connect, 8.45am to 5pm Monday to Friday – no appointment necessary!
