Graduate Gateway Intensive

On Monday 18 November, we are running a one day intensive focused on developing your job application skills.

Graduate Gateway is designed for upcoming graduates, and is aimed at helping you build the skills you’ll need to be competitive in today’s job market.

All workshops are free for current Curtin students and recent Curtin grads – just book into individual workshops using the UniHub links in the schedule below.

Resumes
Ten seconds may be all the time it takes for an employer to decide if your resume goes in the ‘yes’ or ‘no’ pile
9.30am – 11am B501.117

Cover Letters
An employer’s first introduction to you is often through your cover letter – make sure they want to know more
11.30am – 1pm B501.117

Selection Criteria
Effectively identifying and addressing selection criteria is the perfect opportunity to show you’re the right person for the job
1.30pm – 3pm B501.117

Interviews
An employer can form an impression of you on the first 6o seconds of an interview – make sure it’s a great one
3.30pm – 5pm B501.117

We are also running a three day Graduate Gateway workshop series from Tuesday 3 until Thursday 5 December. These workshops will focus on job applications alongside a broader range of professional skills – so you can select the format and topics that suit you.
