What’s On 9 – 13 August

It’s Week 3 and the wintery weather continues…

Monday is World Indigenous Peoples Day. To celebrate, we thought we’d share a short video from two years ago that tells one of the Noongar stories about the Thrombolites in WA.

Tuesday is Census Day and the Australian Bureau of Statistics is reminding everyone that they can complete their Census early.

As far as what we’ve got on this week, Game Changers are focusing on self-awareness.

Game Changers: Self-awareness | Tuesday 10 August | Online
Join us online to discuss strategies for increasing your self-awareness, the role of emotional intelligence in leadership, and factors that influence your emotional responses.

Game Changers: Self-awareness | Wednesday 11 August | B300.217
Discuss strategies for increasing your self-awareness, the role of emotional intelligence in leadership, and factors that influence your emotional responses at this on-campus session.

Meet The Recruiter | Wednesday 10 August | B101 Foyer
There’s a range of  Recruit Curtin opportunities closing this Sunday. If there’s one you’re interested in and would like to know more, drop by B101 between 10am and 2pm to speak to one of the team.

USEP Appointments | Wednesday 10 August | Online & on-campus
Are you a current Curtin student who identifies with having a disability, injury or health condition? Are you looking for tailored, one-on-one, employment support from a dedicated Disability Specialist Consultant? Book an appointment through UniHub.

In other news, you can go in the draw to win a Halo Rooftop Tour at Optus Stadium double pass, just by attending one of the daily Industry Events at Careers For Tomorrow Disrupted next week.
