Therapy Services

Empowering you through quality therapy services.

Independent living doesn’t have to be a distant thought

Reaching your maximum potential and helping you achieve a better quality of life is our goal. At Patches, we are passionate about offering quality therapy services in WA, the Northern Territory, and throughout Australia.

Our therapy services include individual, group, and telehealth sessions as well as professional development and training. Our services are available to NDIS participants, privately paying clients, and some services can be supported through Medicare rebates and private health insurance.

Here are some of the therapy services that we offer our participants

Allied Health

Patches is an NDIS registered allied health service provider. We aim to prevent, diagnose, and treat a range of disabilities, mental health, and behavioural conditions that impact Australians across their life course. Our holistic approach includes working within a multidisciplinary team to cater to the range of needs of our participants and their families. We implement a tailored treatment plan to support our participants to work towards their goals and improve their quality of life. Our team of allied health professionals can support you in your own home, in the community, in one of our clinics, at work or at school.

Therapy Assistants

Aiding you on the journey towards improved health and life outcomes, we have a team of dedicated therapy assistants. Under the supervision and guidance of allied health therapists and psychologists, our therapy assistants can support you to practice the skills you learn in therapy and apply these throughout your daily life.

We employ Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander allied health assistants focused on providing culturally thoughtful care and assisting you to liaise and work with allied health professionals in a culturally supportive way.

Psychology & Counselling

Psychologists and counsellors play an instrumental role in helping participants cope with life’s challenges, enjoy and improve their quality of life. Through assisting in the management of many common mental health disorders, our psychologists and counsellors are here to empower you towards a healthier, more independent future.

Social Work

Our social workers promote social change and development by empowering you towards independence. We help participants improve their lives by managing the complexities of family and the community, and accessing specific services. From practical support to information, our social workers work closely with our psychologists in delivering a quality service to participants.

Occupational Therapists

Our team of dedicated and highly skilled occupational therapists work with people of all ages with a variety of conditions. From psychological difficulties, developmental delays and the functional challenges of aging, our OTs are here to help you. Our goal is to assist individuals to improve their everyday functional abilities and give them the confidence to lead an independent life. Our OT’s can prescribe a range of low cost through to complex assistive technology and equipment to assist with functional independence and home safety. Positive Behaviour Support

At Patches, we have a number of therapists who specialise in positive behaviour support. These therapists work with individuals, families, carers, education staff and other allied health professionals to identify why challenging behaviour is occurring. Our team will then provide strategies to manage and support more positive behaviour.
